Yes — sagging or misaligned gates are one of our most common fence calls. Gates sag when their hinges wear, when the post leans, or when the gate frame twists over time. We diagnose the cause first, then either re-hang the gate on existing hardware, replace worn hinges, or install a diagonal brace to prevent future sagging.

Repairing an existing fence (replacing boards, fixing a gate, resetting posts) generally does not require a permit in New Jersey. Installing a new fence or significantly changing its height or location typically does.
